Our Commitment

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Financial Year 2025–2026 | Pilgrim uPVC Specialists Ltd

Our Core Commitment

Pilgrim uPVC Specialists Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

1. About Our Business

Pilgrim uPVC Specialists Ltd is a uPVC window, door, and glazing installation and supply company based in Boston, Lincolnshire, England. We supply and install uPVC windows and doors, composite doors, aluminium bi-fold doors, conservatories, orangeries, roofline products, and associated glazing products to domestic and trade customers across Lincolnshire and the surrounding regions.

Our supply chain includes UK-based profile manufacturers, hardware suppliers, composite door panel manufacturers, and glazing component suppliers. We are committed to working only with suppliers who share our values and who operate in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards.

2. Our Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our approach is guided by the following principles:

  • We will not knowingly work with any supplier, subcontractor, or business partner who engages in or facilitates modern slavery or human trafficking in any form
  • We pay all employees and subcontractors at or above the National Living Wage and comply fully with all employment law obligations
  • We do not use forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, and we do not hold employees' identity documents or restrict their freedom of movement
  • We treat all workers with dignity and respect, and we do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind
  • We encourage the reporting of any concerns about modern slavery or unethical practices, and we will not penalise anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith

3. Due Diligence in Our Supply Chain

We take a risk-based approach to supply chain due diligence. Our supply chain is predominantly UK-based, which reduces — though does not eliminate — the risk of modern slavery. Our key suppliers include established, reputable UK manufacturers and distributors who are themselves subject to UK employment law and, in many cases, hold their own modern slavery commitments and accreditations.

As our business grows, we will implement the following measures to strengthen our due diligence:

  • Requesting modern slavery statements and ethical trading policies from new suppliers before entering into trading relationships
  • Including anti-slavery and human trafficking provisions in our supplier terms and conditions
  • Monitoring our supply chain on an ongoing basis and taking action where concerns are identified

4. Training and Awareness

All staff and subcontractors working with Pilgrim uPVC Specialists Ltd will be made aware of our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. As the business grows and a team is established, we will ensure that relevant training is provided to help staff recognise the signs of modern slavery and understand how to report concerns.

5. Reporting Concerns
